An exploration of a new paradigm of health, science, and medicine, based on the interconnections between us and nature.
At a genetic level, humans are literally connected to the rest of the natural world through our DNA. But today’s highly processed foods, pesticide based mono-culture farming methods, increasing urbanization, obsession with technology and destruction of the natural environment distance us further and further from the world we co-evolved with. We are out of balance with nature and the reductionist philosophy of modern western medicine, once immensely powerful, seems inadequate to answer today’s challenges.
“Glyphosate will be the final nail in Brussels’ coffin.” It was in such categorical terms that Czech MEP Kateřina Konečná spoke at the European Parliament Committee on the Environment, hours after the European Union approved the use of the chemical for another five years. It is the culmination of a battle pitting corporate interests and political manoeuvring against the health of European citizens.
The organic food movement suffered a major setback recently, when the US National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) voted in favor of allowing hydroponically-grown products to receive the “organic” label. This decision should not have come as a surprise to those who have watched the organic movement steadily taken over by big agribusiness – a process that began in 1990 when Congress required the USDA to create a single set of national standards that would define the meaning of “organic”.
The Culprits at the CDC and FDA
The “healthcare-providing” entities that I was once affiliated with, have tragically failed to emphasize or even mention – I suppose in the name of corporate profits or sheer ignorance – that the tiny bodies, tiny muscles and immature brains that are being targeted by Big Pharma to receive sublethal doses of a toxic brew of chemicals and other substances (particularly mercury, aluminum and live viruses). America’s over-vaccination agendas is making a lot of money for any number of compassionless corporate entities who never had to take – or don’t feel compelled to honor – the Hippocratic Oath.
